We have been ttc for almost 7 years, ive been thru the lot! we have just ventured into  IVF and have just completed our first transfer and in the 2ww period now (im 12 days post) Ive been reading posts for 7years and this is the first time EVER i have actualy written on any!! I hope i can find support and inspiring stories on here! ive been ok recently, ive had lots of practice at this and i spose going thru what i have been thru has some what prepared me for the BIG IVF! i suffer from PCOS and that seems my only thing wrong, i hate it and what its done to me but in one way at least i know whats wrong...many ladies out there do not know whats wrong (unexplained fertility). im so going to write a book when im done, i have so much to share. well ladies i hope your all going strong, it takes only the strong ones to go thru infertilty!! lots of hugs Clare x

Hey there both, thanks for dropping by. firstly thank you for your encouraging story of ivf heather! with all the bad ones there are good ones that make up for it. i feel we let time slip by, one months rest would turn into several and one regret i have is that i wished i had skipped all of the other stuff straight onto ivf. but i cant change whats to be. and here i am. ntate, IVF is the last resort for many, if you look it up there is soo much info about it, that they can explain it far better than i can. for us the lead up to ivf was alot of blood tests re HIV, hep etc. paper work, tests. once your over that then its on the injections etc to get you stimulated. im here in australia so it may be diff to where your from. hope all goes well for you. clare x

Welcome to the forum, and best of luck this 2WW! I too ended up doing IVF after TTC for several years (with two miscarriages along the way), and it worked! We now have a beautiful little girl! Sending you lots and lots of baby dust!

Hello me and my husband have been trying to conceive for a year and seven months. Me and him both have kids from previous relationships. My doctor put me on 50 mg clomid for 6 months had no luck with it. So now he has referred us to a fertility doctor on may 6. Me and my husband have both been through test and they where great. How do they do the ivf"s? And what all did you have to go through before they done them?
