I lost over 15 lbs. with each of my babies, it got better near the end of the second trimester for a bit, but I was throwing up again the third trimester.  I was sick all day and night.  There were things that would trigger and make it worse, so you just see what works.  Many people get Zofran too, there is now a generic and so it isn't so expensive.  I never did takes meds, but it got to the point where they were going to have to admit me and force fluids.  Just keep hydrated, keep taking you prenatal, and Dianne is right, keep something in your tummy, if it gets empty it will be worse.  I pretty much lived on soda crackers and flat Sprite when I could handle the sweetness.  Take care and do call your Dr. if you are worried, but you sound completely normal.

A good friend was so sick when she was pregnant - she actually lost 15 pounds!!  I think for some people they get 'morning sickness' all day.  Hang in there - I have read that eatng small meals and trying to keep someting in your stomah might help.

i was very sick at 7 weeks and went to doc (even though I wasn;t to see him yet)  I had a UTI infection - I am still very sick and can't keep much down
I would call and ask if he can see you early
