Mary,
I am glad you are looking into the future.
Since you are like me, not a big sharer, you can make your pictures available only to people on your friends list. Dee actually told me about that option. Otherwise, I am too paranoid that someone I know may find me here.
I am pretty short 5'3'' at most (without Heather's additional 1/4) but Lisa told me that from my posts she already imagined me as a shorty :)
As for sharing, I actually got hit by a bus when I was about 10. I was J-walking and the driver was drunk so the blame was on both sides.
On a completely different topic, can someone suggest an anti-nausea& vomiting medication? I started vomiting at about 4 am and cannot stop. We have none at home since this never happens to me. I am supposed to hold office hours till 6 pm but hope to pick up something from CVS if anyone can propose a miracle cure.
Thanks ahead for your help!
Hi everyone. Thank you all for your kind words. I am really okay. I never let my hopes get to high, so it was not totally unexpected. I guess I had a glimmer of hope because yesterday was 16dpiui. Oh well, funny thing happened this morning. I woke up and realized that the earth had continuned to rotate on its axis and revolve around the sun. The moral of the story: Life goes on. And, so will I. My RE is out of town until tomorrow. Hopefully she will touch base with me before the end of the week and let me know the est course of action to take.
Heather: I love the pics. You are too cute. I guess I was one of those who imagined you being tall. I assumed you were about 5'10"
Fiona: I hope you get a fabulous report tonight. It is really very exciting.
Lisa: How is the 2WW going. Are you feeling anything.................................................down there.
Dee: Congrats on beginning the injectibles.
Helen: Hang in there. Friday will be here before you know it. I hope the cyst is shrinking as I type.
I will look and see if I have any "normal" pictures of myself to upload. I am the one who always makes faces. I think I might also have a few of myself dancing at a party with a napkin tied on my head as a do rag. Wow, I can imagine what type of pictures I might have if I still drank. Yikes.
In terms of height, I am 5'6". I am the shortest in my family with the exception of my mother who loses about an inch every few months now. However, it looks like I do not have to play point guard if AGP forms a basketball team. Yeah.
Since we are all getting to know one another so well in terms of pictures and descriptions, I think we should all share something about ourselves. Maybe something "different", strange, embarrassing etc. Although I am not a big sharer, let me begin. I have been hit by a car. Twice. 11 years apart, and each incident occurred on the same street. Freaky right. So now you know, never let Mary lead you across the street.
OK. I seriously must get off my arse and go for that walk. But, one more comment from the posting queen. Has anyone heard from Lexima? It's been a while and I am curious how she is getting along.
Lovely pics Heather. You're as gorgeous on the outside as that lovely uterus on the inside!
OK, so joining in on this height info - I'm 5'4" (not very tall, I know - good job I like heels!)..
Jen7900 - don't lose hope even if it's another IUI before going on to IVF... look at HeathJo - an inspiration to all us IUI'ers! we are also going to do another 2 or 3 (have done 2 already) before moving onto IVF. When are you having it done? any idea yet?
babyalive - I know the 2WW never ends, well done you for keeping sane! when can you test?
Fiona - You're a giant, I'm 5 "1"! Here's to beautiful, fertilized eggs!!!!
Dee - How goes the shots?
Heather - I'll be checking out these new photos in just a sec.
Jackson - Sorry about dh. It does sound like an inner ear issue they can make one very dizzy, lightheaded, off balance, quesy. I've had them. No fun. Hope the b/w and u/s give you good info. today!
Dear Sparky and I are off for our morning walk. Not much happening, though I must say Helen did ask me last night how I was feeling "down there". Thanks Helen, I was beginning to think no one cared anymore. (-:
