first of all i would like to say hello to everyone,and hope that i can meet some new people that have shared the same experience that i have went through,i think i was in the wrongforum,i'm a bit lost in these forums,so please correct me if i'm in the wrong one again,first of all i think i should provide some informatation about whats been going on with me,in nov 06 i had a tubal reversal,only my right tube was re connected successfully,6months later i went for a hsg to be told the tube was closed, i was referred to ivf in dec07 my first app,i was told to come back for blood work after i got my period,which never came,on 9th jan i done a hpt,positive,but it was all down hill from there,constant blood work,numbers going up and down,i was sent home and told i was miscarring,after bleeding and clots stopped,i done another test still positive,so it was then confirmed 2 weeks later at 9 weeks pregnant,it was ectopic(no pain,bleeding stopped)i was admitted to hospital and was given one shot of methotrexate on 28th jan,sent home,felt really dizzy and sick for about 1 week,as my numbers were low anyway,on the 15th feb,they were at 3,that night my boyfriend and i had intercourse for the first time from ectopic,we had an accident,as my numbers were at 3 i didn't think i could ovulate until they were at 0,on the 9th and 10th day (yesterday)i was having severe cramps in tummy and to left side(same side as ectopic)on and off for two days, am i paranoid that this could mean i'm pregnant again,or could this be the start of my first cycle about to begin(i still havn't bleed at all after methotrexate shot)i have got up this morning and cramps completley away,i am aware that it is dangerous to get pregnant inside 3 months after meth,this wasn't planned,so scraed,and i'm sorry for going on a bit,just wanted to provide my backround,thank you for any comments,

thanks for the comments ladies,i am ging to make an appointment with my doc,and i can understand you saying it is a bit hard to understand it all,i have been messed about by the hospital i attend (25miles away),and given the run around that it would put you off having a baby,but it'll take alot to put me down,mydoctor  at my local surgery is lovely but i am actually really annoyed at myself for getting into this situation so soon and am trying to wait to see if i have my period,i think i'll make one for thursday or fri,one minute i've been told i'm infertile,then im not, then its a miscarraige,which actually turned out to be an ectopic,but i have high hopes for the future,as everyone does,thats all we can do is try our best so thank you once again,

I'm sorry about your recent loss. I've had two miscarriages myself, so I know how devastating it can be... I've never had an ectopic, though, and don't really know much about methotrexate, so unfortunately, I can't be much help there.

As for ovulation after a miscarriage, you will ovulate again once your levels are back down below 5, so yes, if your level was at 3, you could have ovulated right around the time you had intercourse. If I were you, I would call your doctor and ask for his advice. Just explain what happened, and I'm sure he/she will tell you what your next step would be (maybe a blood pregnancy test).

I just read your story. Forgive me, it was a little hard to follow. I think you should be more careful next time with your boyfriend, especially with everything going on. Take a pregnancy test to be sure or go into your doctor.  This is a delicate situation and you really need to follow what your doctors say perfectly ya know?  You are in the right forum if your trying to have a little one!!
