Am i pregnant!

Hi all,
I'm 15 days post embryo transfer, no spotting, no bleeding, but i got my bhcg done yesterday. it was 1.67miu. i had all signs of early pregnancy, like, bad taste in the mouth, period like feeling, but no periods. Frequent urination. I was on progesterone support. Does this means i'm not pregnant or it is just false negative, as still i'm not having my periods, or will they come only if i leave the progesterone. Doctor has suggested to give up medications. But i dont want to give up! Pls any one suggest.

Thanks for your advice. I'll leave my medications today... but i still do not know why i'm so positive and believing that, naturally also my baby will sustain and i'll be giving good news. I know it is very difficult to accept, only thing i'm assuming right now is whether i conducted my test too early, 14dpt. Might be embryo growth is slow. In natural conception how does it matter? It may be like this only, because my period date is still due on 28th june.

I'm so sorry, but I think it does mean you aren't pregnant.  Usually the beta has to be higher than 5.  Once you stop the progesterone, your period will usually come in 3-7 days.  The ovulation trigger shot they give you will cause many of the same signs as early pregnancy and the progesterone can also cause the same signs.

My first IVF attempt failed (beta was less than 2) and my period started 5 days after stopping the progesterone injections.

Again, I'm so sorry.   I wish you the best of luck.
