Ok so I just took a fer. resp. and I sware I saw 2 lines cause I saw the  first one before the 2nd and then when it was done developing it was gone so what does that mean.....has anyone had this happen and it end up BFP????  I'm totally freaking.

ALT story reemind me of my sis....she kept gettin BFN and had 1 blood test and they said no then she had to go back and have another and BFP found out 3 weeks later TWINS :O)  Dont wanna get your hopes up but I'm prayin for you :O) Youldn't your lil sis LOVE that one I feel like a kid on christmas waitin to open a present SSBD  ((Sheila))

yes, definitely get the quantitative - that is obviously what I had

If it is low (hopefully it will be a high, healthy number!), here is a story I found to keep you optimistic - this is NOT my story, but one I found on yahoo:

i'd be cautiously optimistic. when i got pregnant, my hpts were negative but my period was late. i went to the doctor for a blood test and my hcg was a 2. so, similar situation. the nurse said that I wasn't technically pregnant, but they wanted me back in two days because they wanted to know why I was a 2 when you are normally a 0. I went back two days later and was something like a 10. It gradually went up for a week (long week!) and eventually, two weeks after my missed period, it was confirmed that I was indeed not only pregnant, but with twins. apparenlty I ovulated late and also the twin thing messes with your hormones.

Definitely get the quantitative.  You don't want to be wondering still if the numbers are below 25.  Hurry and let us know!!

I go for beta in an hour and a half and I'm toatly freaking out......I'm wondering if I should get quantitive instead of qualitve.....

I can tell you it happened to me both times I tested last month (with the same FRER test) - so much so that the 2 times it happened I was screaming "oh my god oh my god" - but by the time it got to the end of the window it disappeared.  It was probably because my level was a 3 on my beta, so it could be a good sign if you are testing early.  I was supposed to come back and see if my level went up in 2 days, but for me, af came.  THAT DOESN'T MEAN IT WILL HAPPEN TO YOU - there's a very GOOD chance it could go up.  It could mean that there is at least SOMETHING going on!  Good luck!
