Need advice..Going to OB today..I have a missed miscarrige...not bleeding yet..Don't know what option to take to start it..Give me your opinions please!

I'm going to the OB this A.M. to find out what my options are to help speed along this miscarriage as nothing is happening.  I'm 8 w and a few days.  I've already had 2 D&C's so I really don't want to risk scarring with another one but then again I'm kinda scared to be given a drug and miscarry at home.  What if I bleed too much?  What have you girls done?

I am so sorry about your miscarriage. I had a D&C too for a miscarriage and when I had a lap they gave me another D&C. I think youre doing the right thing in having the D&C as emotionally having to wait for a miscarriage to happen would be just so very painful. I hope you will be ok soon and hugs for Wednesday.

I took the pills once, vaginally.  This brought on m/c later that evening.  I bled very very heavy and almost passed out several times from the heavy bleeding.  It was very scary to me.

I think you're making the right choice to get this over with (d&c) Wed.  This is fairly safe i believe.  I'll be thinking of you dear!

I am so sorry you have to go through this again Dainsey but I am glad you only have to wait until Wednesday.  It is nice to get it over with fast and start focusing on the future ASAP.  Nothing cures the m/c blues than TTC and a BFP again!!  Best of luck!

Hi girls..Just got back from the OB...We are going to do a D&C...The OB said that they only use a little suction, not any scraping method so there is hardly any risk of scarring any more...He said it is much faster and we can test it to make sure it was chromosonal...So that's what we will be doing on Wednesday.. Wish me good luck!

I had the d&c at 12wks. They told me it could take a very long time to mc. By then, I would be risking infection. I guess, it really depends on what they see when you go in. I am so sorry you are going through this again ((hugs))

I miscarred naturally and it is alot of blood but my doctor told me it was normal. I was 3 months along though.
