Any1 get pregnant first cycle of Clomid????

Hi everyone I will be starting Clomid next month and wanted to know how many of you ladies have been on and how many have you got pregnant on the first cycle. Alittle bit nervous about the whole thing but I know it will be alright. I really cant wait to get started on the whole thing. So any feedback and thoughts about Clomid would be appreciated. Charting means keeping a written (or online) record of your temperature, it should be low right up until you ovulate, then spike up at ovulation, and if it stays up the whole rest of your cycle that's good, it means the progesterone is kicking in and could be pregnant.  Good Luck

P.S. Check your temp at the same time every morning before you get out of bed. It's more accurate and consistant that way.

It took my 5 months to get pregnant while on 50 mg of Clomid. I had always taken it days 5-9, in August I did days 3-7 and took evening primrose pills because clomid may decrease your cervical mucus, and this helps. I also bought a fertility monitor, and our timing was so off, now I know why it took so long. Unfortunatly I misscarried last week. The ovulation predictor kits really had my timing off, so I would recommend the fertility monitor but it is about 200 dollars. Worked for me the first time! Good luck to you.

Do you mind if i ask what you meant when you say the OPK's had your timing off?  I have always heard they are pretty accurate?  No?

My OBGYN is about to start me on clomid in 3 weeks he said he wanted me to wait for my period or light spotting to beggin for him to give it to me, anyways i have been reading alot of your stiff and i feel really bad for your losses, i have been there my self, i lost twins on my first natural pregnancy, then 4 years later conceived my Angel sent from heaven who is 2 Years Old now, so now we are thinking on another baby or babies if there is a possibility, has anyone here gotten twins pregnant with Clomid? does it work? because thats the main reason we are going for it. let me know. ***@****, Thanks in Advance!

I just started clomid today (5-9). I have 2 children ages 11 & 9. I have a history of adhesions. I had the dye test in July. Dr says all is well & that the dye opened my tubes because they were blocked. Does anyone else have these problems from adhesions. Keep me in your prayers, & I,ll do the same!

i got pregnant on my first round of clomid, after two misscarriages im 8 wks pregnant now and pretty sure it is twins, the doctor had told me before that there was like a 12 percent chance that it would happen, iam just praying now that i dont loose the pregnancy again, but good luck to you!
