Sounds like everyone had a busy weekend. I sent a photo to your email addresses. I can't wait to see yours. I am feeling positive. The baby did grow and science is never exact. Tomorrow I will be 9 weeks, but according to the ultrasound I will be 8. Thinking back they always ask if my dates were right as my babies all start out small. Positive energy. Can't wait to hear the results of your u/s Nicki. At five weeks they can only see a sac(s) and sometime in the sixth week they usually can see the hearbeat. I read that they measure by the size of the fetal pole which isn't visible until six weeks, every mm of the size of the fetal pole is how far past six weeks you are. So if in the sixth week the fetal pole is 4mm, you are 6wks 4 days. The heartbeat should be visible anytime between 6 and 7 weeks, but everyone is different some right on time - some a little later. Take care.

Hi Amy,
Ouch...double ear infections!  Glad to hear that you are on the mend.  So cute that you taught your kiddies La Raspa...bet they loved it!  Our kinder classes danced Jarabe Tapatio.  Have you decided on a name yet for your princess?

Nicki,
Hi again! I was unable to pull up your picture from the kodak gallery.  Can you send it to my E-mail address?  I will send you a photo of DH and I and our daughters (my stepdaughters).

That whole Chris thing was strange.  He posts once and then disappears.  Weird but oh well.

Audrey.. see if you can copy and paste the below.  It should work.  I just went to kodak photo share gallery and if you choose the photo by photo upload, nothing has to get installed and all you have to do is upload a photo.  It's not such a great photo but it's the only one I have on this computer.

Ok so I started the face to the name pic.  Your turns!

Hi Nicki, I am looking forward to hearing about your ultrasound. It will be exciting to see how many little beans have sprouted!

I am doing better- recovering form a double ear infection---Yuck. Who hears of adults getting ear infections? I didn't have any pain really, but both my ears completely plugged, so it's been like living with earplugs in 24-7. It's been pretty funny teaching though, I spent the last two weeks telling my kindergarteners, "If I can hear you, than you are too loud." I think one ear has cleared....it comes and goes..but I am definitely on the mend. My DH didn't want me to take anything but the doctors all said amoxicillin was OK. I didn't want to do permanent damage to my ears either. Besides I couldn't live underwater for one more day.

LJ- I have been thinking about you a lot this week. I am sorry to hear you have to wait two more weeks for some peace of mind. But since the baby has grown and they think they saw a heartbeat, that all sounds like good news so far. You're right ultrasounds aren't perfect, especially so early. They just point and click,t o measure. I've watched two different docs clik in different palces and get different measurements, especially if they are in a hurry. Keep us posted!!

Audrey- I hope you had a good weekend. I do miss margaritas. I tried to teach my kids La Raspa on Friday, they thought it was pretty fun AND we made some silly sombreros. It was an easy day in kindergarten. What day is your adoption meeting? I, too, am interested in hearing how that goes.

Deb- sorry to hear about your brother and his wife. It is a hard time. It's good you all know what eachother is going through int his fertility business. You're not alone and you family can understand.

Nikki- Hope you're doing well-

What happened to the dh Chris? Did we scare him away? I'm curious to see how their luck turned out.
