Just an update

I finally started AF on thursday.  I think the Provera is making it worse than it's ever been.  But it's all okay and worth it because I start the Clomid today.  I'll be taking it days 3-7.  Has anyone else had to take it these days?  I have heard of 5-9 and 3-7....just wondering which one has a higher success rate?  Hopefully this will be my month.  Even if it just makes me have a regular cycle I will be happy.  Thats all for now.  To all those out there best wishes for a great weekend and a positive test result if your testing.

Thanks for the info.  I didn't ask any questions...I was just happy to finally have the opportunity to take the meds.  I am going to have the HSG test on Thursday and was going to ask all my questions then. I'm not looking forward to it.  I was told it makes you cramp and feel yuck afterwards.  I guess you gotta do it though.  Anyways..thanks for the information and explanation.  Have a great weekend!

My RE explained the clomid dosage days as follows:  He said that taking days 3-7 is more likely to produce more follicles, whereas taking it days 5-9 is more likely to produce one stronger follicle. That is what he told me, so I assume it is accurate  : )  He also said that for many doctors it is just a matter of preference. Good luck this month!
