?? for those who have done IVF

I was instructed to take my HCG trigger shot at 12:45 am Monday (today).  My egg retrival will be tomorrow at 11:45 am.  Yes, this is 35 hours after the trigger! My question is, is this normal?  Isn't the timing toooo close? Isn't the trigger supposed to work in 24-36 hours after you take it?  Is there a danger that I will ovulate early and this cycle will all be scrapped?  I am trying not to stress, as I know stress impedes fertility, but my greatest fear is that we won't even get to try (this has happened a few times before with IUI).

You'll be fine! I had my hcg shot on 9/5/07 and the retrieval on 9/7/07. I took the shot at 9 at night and had the retrieval at 8:00 am. Don't worry, the Doctors know what they are doing:) I had 11 follicles and 9 embryos. Just try to relax as best as you can and best of luck tomorrow!!!!

thanks everyone. I guess I need to stop self-diagnosing, second guessing my RE, and thinking that something will go wrong.
