Low Progesterone levels

Hi,

I am 13 days past my ET and I am pregnant now. My HCG levels are good but progesterone levels are low. Like it was  6.9 on 10th day post ET and went down to 5.0 on 13th day. I am worried, but my HCG levels went up from 104 to 434 on the 13th day. Does anybody know why it is dropping? I am taking crinone 8% gel twice a day. Please let me know if anybody experienced the same kind of situation.

Thanks!

My RE told me take one more crinone in addition to 2. She also said that as long as I don't have bleeding, it is ok. She is going to check my levels again on this Friday, Sep 25th. BTW, what do you think about my HCG levels?, it is 434 on 13th day PET.

I was also on crinone (once a day), plus oral prometrium, but my RE never checked my progesterone levels after transfer. From what I've understood, blood tests are not always accurate when on vaginal supplements, since the vaginal supplements basically delivers all the hormones down there, right where it's needed, without going through your entire blood stream first (like the injections do). You could always ask for prometrium as an addition, though...just as an added precaution. By the way, what is your RE saying?
