Small Folicles/Low Estrogen

I have been trying to get pregnant with my husband for about 8 months now. My doctor just started my on a low dose of clomid. It seemed to have messed up my period, by the 12th cycle day i went in for an ultra sound and blood work. My folicles (though i have a lot) were too small, like 7cm and my bloodwork came back with low estrogen levels. She wants to see me in 2 weeks. But I have so many questions? Why two weeks, I want to start resolving this matter right away? Do you think I'll be still taking the clomid, what are the next steps? HELP
