my opk (at around 10 am) is always slightly lighter than the control line....then i test again in the evening and it's darker...by am lighter. are you only testing once a day? Maybe you are missing your "surge". most people ovulate sometime early morning...so by the time hormones hit your urine may not be until later in the day...
aren't these pesky things annoying? :)
You can't have a faint surge with an OPK; it's gotta be darker than the control line or at least as dark. When I'm not surging I also get a second line that is faint but visible.
thats what i thought. but then when i tested the next day it was super light to it wasnt a positive surge. I was thinking that is was about the same color but i think i might trying to see something i want. OPK never worked for me so i gave up on it then i decided to try it again this month. =)
It's possible that your LH surge comes and goes in less than 24 hours (between the time you take your OPKs). Testing only once daily may result in missing the surge, so you may want to try testing twice a day. Check out: http://www.peeonastick.com/opkfaq.html#12
