Hi, I just had my egg retrieval for my first ivf cylce three days ago. I have been really bloated off and on since then. This afternoon I started getting pretty bloated again and I did have diarhea once a few hours ago. My stomach has been in knots all day. Does this sound like Ovarion Hyperstimulation Syndrome? I'm just worried because I have my transfer in two days! What do you think?

Hi all, i was about to jump into my car and head to my doctors' before i read this posts but now i have a feeling that my bloating is not that bad and there is a chance it will go down and if not that it will not have my transfer which is in two days canceled.. good luck to all of us out there doing IVF and may the results be good..

Good luck, and thirteen follicles is great!  It sounds like this ivf cycle should be better than your last one. You must feel good about that!

Well, I will write you again on Monday, the day after my transfer, to tell you how it went. Wish me luck!!

WOW!!! 13 and 9 are great??!~!!!  That is wonderful!!!  I had only two that were grade 1's last time...I had 13 originally but they did not do too well after they fertilized...so this time they changed my protocol...they said that it was their fault and it had to do with my protocol...soooooo I hope this time we can at least freeze some... so far I have 16 eggs.  I go tomorrow for another u/s and b/w with the Dr.!!! I can't wait!!! I am sooooo ready... and it is great that you will have 5 day embryo's..I heard that there is a better sucess rate with 5 day embryos... last time I to go in at 3 day..b/c mine were going fast...  oh, and the bloating is much better for me today...my PT gave me exercises they use for pg. ladies to help with the bloating...so I did them yesterday and it has helped!!

well, keep me updated and make sure you are doing lots of bedrest after transfer....and no lifting over 10 lbs.!!! (for the TWW)

It's so good to hear from you! I was thinking about posting to see where you were in the whole process. I wasn't put on antibiotics, but I've only had the lovely diarrhea one time so far. Hopefully it will be fine. You are right, I do worry about everything. I have always been that way, my hubby calls me nervous nancy. So.....a possible Wednesday retrieval??!! How exciting! I'm so glad mine is done with, I was so nervous! It turned out to be no big deal though. I wouldn't worry too much about the slight blood in the cm. My doctor told be that the meds stop your period, but sometimes it slowly trickles for awhile. I'm sure that is what is going on.

I did get the fertilization report and it is good! I have 9 embryos total. Today was day three, so they told me we will be doing a day five transfer which will be this Sunday morning at 9am. I'm so excited. 5 of the nine are grade 1's, which is the best grade possible, and the remaining 4 are graded 2's which is also really good. My doctor told me they look for grades 1 and 2's when considering the embryos. So I was really happy! I can't wait to hear how many you get!! They originally collected 13 eggs, but a few of them didn't make it.

Hello... I know how you feel.... Did you take antibiotics???  That gives me
diahheaa.... oh, I am extrememly bloated now and I still have not had my ER
yet... I am guessing next Wed.... But i think that is normal...Have you been checking your weight???  I got on the scales each morning after ER up until after the 2WW to make sure I didn't have OHSS.... I thought for sure I would get this..
but I didn't......  You can call your Dr. about this...if you feel upset about how you are feeling...better to be safe!!!
I was going to call my Dr. today, as well.... I still am spotting and have lght. blood in my CM... My AF can last up to a week with some spotting but this is crazy!! It has been over 1 week, but AF was very light, so this may be why...
Does this sound OK to you???  I am in a panic as well... I think everything
we do panics us!!! Crazy, huh!!!  well, let me know... I will check in later...
please relax... have you heard from your RE yet, abouthow many fertilized, etc???

I have one more thing to add to my post above-I do not really have much pain down there, just an uncomfortable bloating.........
