Ok so with all of your help I feel confident in checking my cervix now.  And I just did and it was very high and very soft so is that good after O?

ok so now I'm totally freaking cause this site says after O it should be low and hard but if pregnancy occurs it will be high and soft......I'm sure that's what mine is like I could barly reach it and it felt as soft as the rest of my vaginal wall....is 5 DPO to soon to have it soft and high?

i am new here and kinda lost with all the abbre.  when you used DPO, what does it mean?

Brandi,  I don't know anything about cervical position (I am not even sure if I am normal down there, so I don't dare start checking stuff for myself - I am already a freak about information!!!)  But I am sending so many positive thoughts your way - you won't be able to stand up from the pressure of all of them :)  The one thing that I read, after checking out your posted website - was to check it the same time everyday - but i gotta think that it's a good start, since if it was low and hard u would definitely not be pregnant :)

LOL, I wouldn't mind another paranoid forum buddy.  We're all paranoid really!!

I hope that's a good sign for you!  I can't depend on my cervix for anything though because it changes by the day.  Sometimes it's high and sometimes it's low and it doesn't seem to matter which part of the cycle I'm in so I stopped checking it.  I can tell when it's hard or soft though so that sounds like a good sign for you.  I know you can't wait to get to 7DPO to start testing!!!!

OMG OMG OMG OMG I think I'm going to pass out right now....I just went to the RR and the blue veins are back......I'm so trying not to get excited but they are so there......remember the ones I got last month a week before my BFP......I've got to just breath I'm probably getting my hopes up for nothing but they are there gosh darn it..............

Don't rely on your CP, mine was ALL over the place before my BFP. Then I had to do suppositories when I got my bfp and felt it up then down then sideways and always freaked out to where it should be. I went to my 1st u/s and asked the tech, do you know where my cervix should be? she looked at me like I was from mars, he he hee. Hope the blue veins are because of pg, it must be the increased blood flow!!

Cervix...wish I could help but all I know is that I couldn't find mine...haha.  I tried one day and can't find it good luck!

When I was preggo last October, i went to the ER and the doc did a pelvic exam on me and i remember him sayin that he couldnt find my cervix because it was so high. thats the only time ive been preggo (sadly it ended halloween) but ever since then, i have been checking my cervical position and it does vary alot. i would say that high is GOOOOD tho. i have always been able to find mine since and i havent been preggers so that is accurate i think. i pray that this is the one for you! good luck and Lord, keep us posted! BFP's all over the board give me a reason to smile every day!

Since I have been pg, mine has felt like it sticks out more.. kinda like there is a short fat thumb back there.  When I was on the progesterone suppositories, I had to remove the byproduct every couple of days (sorry TMI), so I felt it quite often.  I would descibe it as soft... it has mass to it but the texture was similar to the rest of the area.. and it kinda stuck out.. the progesterone stuff would be around it.. between the cervix and the vaginal wall and I could run my finder all the way around it.  I know that is a lot of TMI but since this was the topic I thought I would share.. Hope that helps.
