I did notice that that number increases dramatically after more than one IVF. Its something like 83% from 3 cycles... (Just looking at my ARC info)
Its seems promising to me. I'll take those numbers.
ARC is the company that has that 3fer deal.. 3 fresh, 3 frozen. Website is same name as company.
That's is correct. When you are reach to 35 or older, the chance to conceive is less than when you were in your 20s. That's not fair, but that the fact and we have to accept that. The chance you can have higher to conceive is do IVF. it's cost a fortune. The next you can do is IUI which only give you chance to hope will conceive. IVF you already that fetus already form and all you need is your uterus lining thick enough for the eggs to implant.
I am 37 years old and have a hard time to conceive. I have to accept the age can reduce the percentage to become pregnant, but you never know. miracle always there.
Good luck toyou.
I've never done IVF but was pregnant at 38, 39 & 40, pretty easily, but m/c all. The m/c rate for those those 38-40 is pretty high (30-40%) so I would not be suprised that a RE clinic has only 24% success. Is that 24% success for term babies or 24% get pregnant...I'm guessing its for term pregnancies.
I don't have better stats, but I think those sound right, considering RE sees people with fertility issues. For those going on their own without known fertility issues, I'm sure more than 24% of them get pregnant.
I'm close to NC...have a friend that lives in Burlington. How far is your RE from Burlington? I'd like to know their 3 for 1 price. Do you mind sharing the website w/,me? Any info you share will be very appreciative.
Cheers~

I would try IVF. My RE practice has close to a 50% rate with their 3 tries for 1 price deal. I want one more and if I'm over 37...I'll due 3 IUI cycles with injectables and then move right to IVF.
