First IUI today......now it's the 2ww

Got my first IUI today.  I was nervous but really excited!  The Clomid worked like it was supposed to so that meant I didn't have to do estrogen shots this week.  My estrodol (sp?) level was 430 on Monday.  The doctor was afraid that meant I would have a lot of mature follicles with a lot of eggs (????), meaning more chance of multiple births.  An u/s showed 2 mature follicles on my right side and 2 on my left, one with 2 eggs.  My level yesterday was up to 625 so they have me take Ovidrel and did the IUI this afternoon.  This is the first time in the 2 years DH and I have been TTC that I feel really positive that it's going to work.  Especially because last week the doctor said she didn't think we would do an IUI this month and was certain I would have to do the injections this week.  She thought my body would have to get used to the meds first and we would try the IUI next month.  After my b/w, though, she is much more positive which gives us hope.  I will try not to get my hopes up to high, though.  Anyone else in the 2ww?

Very exciting!  & it's ok to be super excited...........even if it doesn't work for you this month!  @ least your body seems to be responding to the meds!
I'm towards the end of my 2WW (nail biter! LOL) Just tested (held my tinkle for the past 5 hours!) & I SWEAR I see a "ghostly" second line! I'll test tomorrow w/FMU & if I am, it SHOULD show up fairly easily!  I am NOT expecting AF between Sunday night & Monday night.  I'm crossing my fingers & toes......& if I had both of my tubes, I would cross them too!
Good luck to you....the 2WW is SOOOOOOOOOOO SOOOOOOOOOOO long for us women!
