Cramping during 2ww of 2x 3day embryos

Hey ladies,

I am just new to this forum, and would appreciate your feedback. I current am at 10days post transfer. I have had 2 fresh cycles of IVF (bfn) and second natural FET (first 1 resulting in chemical pregnancy). This time feels different to all my other 3 attempts. I am having cramping sensation in my lower stomach which feel like AF is on it's way . Has anyone felt this and still got a BFP?

Hi Nurseypie,

Thanks for replay it means a lot. The 2w they are the longest 2w in my life. I am due for test in 8 days hopefully this will be third time lucky. I was told by my doctor that this cramping could mean implantation and also it could be from progesterone that i am on twice a day, but it could also mean a period is on the way.I had IUI which was unsuccessfull and cycles canceled due to pore response to meds. This cycle is my 3rd ICSI and it will be the last using my eggs ( which i don't have many left) doesn't matter of the outcome. If its positive i would be more than happy if its negative we are going for donor eggs which are from my sister.

I send a lot, lot, lot, lots of baby dust to every one and hope that all of our dreams will come true.

Talk soon

Regards,

Branka

Hi Maybeb,

I have had both success and failure. Feeling like a period coming on was not good news for me, but has been good news for many others. Please note that implantation also yields some mild cramping, which is still a hopeful sign.

Please post often and let the folks in this forum hold your hand through this process. We have all been there and we need to stick together through the 2ww.

Best regards,
Donnice

Hi everyone!

I am new to this site and i am 27. I am currently 6 days post transfer ( day 3 4 and 5 cells) and this is my 3rd attempt. I am a cancer survivor so that is the reason for my infertility. I also have mild cramping in lower abdomen and it feels like my period is coming.
My brests are sore but not as much as they were 2/3 days ago.Did anyone have success in a case like mine or you heard of it? I would appreciate it.
Huge thank you!!!!

How rude of me! I forgot to ask how you are doing. Did you POAS yet? BFP???? I know the FE docs frown on it, but I always buy HCG tests from the Dollar store sand start POAS around day 9 or 10. I figure it won't effect the outcome one way or another. It's just that I'm too impatient for the 2ww...

Hoping all is well,
Donnice

Hi Fee,

The secretary at the Dr's office offered acupunture the morning of my transfer to me today. It would have been nice to know about this sooner. I'm going to try it though in an effort to maximize my chances.

Today was my sister's donor retreival day. They only retreived 2 eggs. They're being fertilized right now. If all goes well, my transfer day will be thursday. Nervous time...

Hi Donnice...

Thank you so much for your response and wishing you the best of luck with your new cycle.. I am currently having accupuncture for about a month or so and have been advised by my clinic and also online that accupuncture may increase your chance of a successful ivf cycle and live births by approximate 65%, so that may be something you may look into..
Best of luck with your cycle keep me updated

Sticky vibes and fingers crossed
Fee xoxo

I'm back on this forum after a 2 1/2 years. I've had 4 total attempts with varying ranges of results:
Dec 2005- Fresh transfer (2x3 embryos) w/donor egg= BFN (no cramping)
Feb 2006-FET (4x3 embryos) w/donor egg=BFP. Delivered 1 baby boy Oct 2006 (very mild cramping and bleeding on day 9- BFP on day 9)
Apr 2008-FET(4x3)=BFP/chemical pregnancy (mild to moderate cramping during 2ww)
July 2008-FET(4x3)=miscarried twins(2 sacs) at 13 weeks (mild cramping at week 9)
July 2011-Scheduled for fresh donor transfer (probably 4x3).

Every time I experienced cramping I got BFP each time, so try not to stress too much, and good luck. My FE says that can mean embryos are burrowing in your lining.

I've decided to try again after almost three years so I will be re-experiencing the joys and fears right along with you.

Prayers and hugs,
Donnice

Hi Babies 4us...

I haven't gone thru this part of the process yet or ever but I hope all works well for you.  I have heard many ppl say they get cramps that feel like AF is coming and end up with a BFP so hang in there!

When is your beta test?

xo,
marline
