Hi Ladies!

Quick question. I was supposed to start my first round of IUI this month but they put it off a month because there was a cyst on my left ovary. So dissapointing. They said that i should come in at the end of the month when i get my period so they can do an U/S to see if it has dissapeared.  If not, they will have to aspirate it. That just sounds painful!!! Can anyone give me some advice or information? Will it hurt, and how is it performed? Thanks so much!

i never had to have one aspirated but i have had one rupture. it was quite painful, i went to the er because i thought something was terribly wrong (was 4-5wks pregnant at the time). and they cannot give you clomid because it can make the cyst become larger because of the chemical stimulation. they usually  reside on their own is what i have heard. good luck!
