My name is Christine and I have an 8 year old daugther daugther. When I got remarried me and my husband wanted to have a child together. We tried couple months on our own but nothing. So we saw the OV watch and thought if it worked it would be worth the money. Tried the watch for 6 months nothing, did everything it said and still nothing. I left it off for several days to see if it would change.... And thats what it did it was stating.. Fertile Day 1 even though I was not wearing the watch. I believe all it does is tell you when your ovulating based off the cycle you entire into the watch ahead of time. I would not recommend this watch to anyone. Its a waste of money & it was a waste of 6 months that I cant get back now.....
I used it and it was way off. I started using it because when I contacted the company, they said it was not affected by the fertility drugs (the Clearblue Easy Fertiility Monitor may give abnormal results with Clomid). So I was looking for some predictor.
I usually ovulate around day 10 -11... normally. With Clomid I was postponed a day or so (or so the ultrasounds showed me and the monitor when it worked). The OV watch showed I didn't ovulate until day 18 or 19. By that time, I would have been implanting.
It was really expensive, the refills are really expensive, it's not comfortable to sleep with... I don't think this was worth HALF of what I paid and put into it.
I was pretty angry about all the $ I spent, but I'll sell the darn thing on ebay or something. I wont' use it anymore, it's not worth it.
I just looked it up on the internet. I guess you sleep (which is good because it's pretty ugly) with it and it detects LH surge from your sweat.....it's pretty pricy too $189.
What's OV watch, does it tell you when you're going to ovulate???
I was wondering, too. I saw it yesterday. $200 is kind of steep, plus the refill were high. It sounded too good to be true, probably is.
