Did I test too early??

My husband and I are trying to conceive. This is the first month of trying. My LMP was 10-5-07. I'm pretty sure I ovulated around the 20th. We had sex on the 17th, 19th, 21st, and 25th of the month. I am not due for af until Saturday/Sunday. Took a $$ tree test last night and it was neg but my breasts are sore, thin blue veins are visible on my aereolas and I have a horrible metallic taste in my mouth. I am also experiencing faint twinge like feeling in my right abdomen. I'm hoping that it's early pregnancy symptoms but am afraid it's af because of the negative test......did I test too early??

It is still early.  Only a percentage of women will test positive this early.  I'd try again in a couple of days.  best of luck to you.  I'm recommend using "first response early results" test.  They aren't cheap but worth it.  They are the best and most reliable.

I believe so.  I think it's have to be 14 days after your ovulation.  maybe the 5th of nov you take HPT.

:-) good luck
