Embryos Did Not Make It To Freeze

I just had my first IVF cycle.  I'm currently in the 2WW.  We had 5 eggs on retrieval, 4 fertilized via ICSI.  On Monday we transferred two embryos - a 8 cell grade 1 and a 7 cell grade 2.  The remaining two eggs were left to see if we could freeze them.  I found out today they did not make it to blastocyst, which has me worried that the overall quality of the eggs/embryos isn't good.  Is there any validity to this?

(We have one son, conceived naturally the first try!  He just turned 3.  We've been trying for over a year, 2 failed IUIs, male fertility issues.)

The embryos are better off in you than in the petrie dish.  Try not to worry.

Don't forget that they transferred the two best embryos, so they were stronger than the two remaining ones anyway. Best of luck!!!
