FIRST IUI!

Hi guys! i just had my first IUI on the 30th! so was nervous that we couldnt have sex after the iui. does that screw our chances?

ohh wow! congrats to you! lets hope the rest of us also have a BFP! but ypmttc answering your questions, i had the scan done on wednesday 3 days before my IUI and there were three follicles, measuring 17, 15 and 14! took gonal f for 2 more days and then got the trigger shot on friday night. did it on saturday :) as my doc recommended it and saw them sunday morning. the DH numbers that were put in me were 10million and mainly grade 3 and some grade 2! so lets hope it works! the wait is just killingg me! as far as symptoms are concerned! i have fun! expect some bloating but my doc told me i will have it due to the progesterone inserts! anyway please do let me know as soon as you have the news! wish you the very best!!!!

Good luck! I just got BFP after my 1st iui in Jan! (after 7 failed medicated cycles using timed intercourse). We did 1 iui 24hrs after and 1 48 hrs after, and no intercourse. I am pretty sure it was the 1st iui that worked, b/c by the morning of the 2nd one my temps had already spiked. Sending lots of baby dust!!

Hey dear,

If you missed the chance to have sex after IUI. I think thats ok coz sperm is gonna there for atleast 2-3 days right so there is a rare chance to miss.
BTW I did my first IUI on Jan 25(8dpo today) and going to test on feb 8. I'm just so nervous and seriously searching for symptoms inside me. I have sore nipples and twinges in boobs.Lots of bloating(may be bc of Progestrone supp).twinges in back and cramps in lower abdomen here n there.
what about u and symptoms? how was yours and DH numbers on IUI day.
I had one big follicle of 23mm and DH numbers were super good(dont remember now).
Hope we both get our BFP this month.You are in my prayers.

i knowwww! but i couldn't do it! i was too nervous but im pretty sure i ovulated the same day of the iui... as i had pains in the lower abdomen and felt like something was happening! i just hope it works out this time! although this is my first iui but i have been on femara for almost a year! lets see
hopefully you will get a positive! wish you all the luck...just a few more days for you. do let me know if it worked :)

yeah u can have sex after iui ,actually doctor recommend it to me. i did iui for first time on jan 21th now i am waiting now for my test , today is my day 11th  and I am so nerves, ,i will pray for u and sending u alot of baby dust :)
