FREAKING out after IUI!!

OK, I know this is going to sound COMPLETELY ridiculous, but during my previous IUI and IVF treatments, I got mildly hyperstimulated and was in SOOOO much pain starting the day after trigger, and lasting about 5-7 days.  I had the super painful bloating in my upper belly, as well as the cramps below.  This time, I've got a little bit of bloating but nothing too painful, and some mild cramping and tenderness, but NOTHING like I experienced in times past.

Believe me, I am very GRATEFUL to not be in pain right now, and I know it seems so absurd - but I can't help but feel like it didn't work because I don't feel like anything is going on in there!  I've had a couple of twinges of O pains, but not even close to ones I've felt when I knew I O'd with no meds at all.  Much less knowing there's 4 big follies in there that should be releasing eggs.  I'm worried I haven't O'd yet cuz they do the IUI's only 12 hours after the trigger at my RE's office.  We BD'd last night (IUI was 9am yesterday, trigger was 9pm the night before), and I'm sure we will again tonight - and as many of you have probably already read, we did have a count of nearly 100 million at my IUI yesterday - so I keep telling myself even if I don't O til today, there's bound to be some left sticking around!

I KNOW I NEED TO RELAX!!!  It seems so silly to me that here I am feeling great, and I'm freaking the F#*K out because I don't feel bad!  hahaha  It's just that it deviates from past experience - so I'm worried it won't work.  Then again, my IVF didn't work at all and my first IUI pregnancy only lasted 3 days - so who knows - this is probably what I NEED to happen for it to work.

Has anyone had a BFP with an IUI and almost no symptoms from the IUI itself?

If things are done right, I don't think  you should experience any pain or discomfort.  Your dr is probably trying to avoid another hyperstimulation and adjusting you meds.

I think you are okay... try not to worry.  Enjoy you tww as much as you can.

Do you have any poas plans?  Do you have a beta scheduled if AF doesn't show?

I agree, you have a great chance this month!!!  as long as you calm down and relax.  It is so important that you are relaxed for conception to occur and this is around ovulation time for you, so please try to remember that for it to work, you need to relax.  A for your question, I have good news...I got pregnant with five babies through an IUI a few years ago and I did not feel a thing during the IUI.  I remember being bloated but I did not have ovulation pain or anything like that.  My last few cycles I have had a lot of oculation pain and I have not gotten pregnant.  I was so surprised when I was getting so much pain the last few cycles during ovulation because I had never felt it before with the first two IUIs I did a few years ago, and like I said, I got pregnant with five with the second one around....please take care of yourself and think positively...how many people are able to say that their dh's count was 100 million!!!

Just relax......I didn't feel anything after my ivf transfer and I am now 14wks pregnant. I have to say though that this was the first time I just relaxed and didn't worry about anything and I guess it worked.

Sounds like you already answered your own question :-) LOL! I think it's definitely a good thing that you're not feeling bloated and uncomfortable. Most women don't get hyperstimulated for IUIs and lots of them get BFPs! As for the timing of the IUI, 100 million is an insane number, so I'm sure there are still some of them hanging around, plus you're BD'ing too! Personally I think you have a very good chance this month!!!
