Hi, I had my ER on 6/17.  They retrieved 12 embies on 6/18 the clinic called, only 1 had fertilized so we had to do a rescue ICSI, the result for that wsa not much different we got 2 more fertilize but this could have been because it was rescue ICSI.  My beta is on 7/1

I was trying for 8 years and never got pregnant I did ICSI with my first IVF I am now 7 week pregnant. Hubby sperm wasnt bad but didnt want to take any chances.

With ICSI you have a 100% fertilization rate versus a 70% rate.  So if you have 10 eggs all will get fertilized and have a chance to grow, where if you don't you will only have 7.  We had ICSI and I only started with 7 eggs 3 of which died before our 3dt.  I am currently in my 2WW.  I would recommend it!

We did ICSI with our first IVF, and I am now 7 weeks pregnant!  It definitely helps if you have any concerns with sperm quality.  Best of luck.

I had ICSI done several times and have not gotten pregnant but I have poor egg quality in some of my cycles.  ICSI really increased our fertilization rate and the number of mature eggs.  I would definitely suggest using ICSI.  We are using it again in July.

I had ICSI done with my IVF cycle.  They put 2 embies in and they both took.  I am currently almost 34 weeks along with a boy and a girl.  It is more expensive but I think definitely worth it!

I had icsi with 2 embryos transferred.8 cell and 7 cell. I am 6 weeks pregnant.i will have my first u/s this monday.GOOD LUCK!!!!
