question about m/c

Well to all you ladies who have gone through this torture before I have a question. the last day i took my progesterone and estrogen was last wednesday, i started spotting friday. Sunday I started heavy bleeding, and then  last night i have started passing huge clots (sorry tmi), and every time i go to the bathroom lots more huge clots. My stomach is not crampy but just hurts painful over uterus area.  How long is normal for this clot passing and pain to go on?? Days or weeks, or should it be over soon? Thanks for any info. (sunday i would have been 5 weeks, but obviously the baby stopped developing before that).

I am 50 years old never had a child, and the last two months i have been suffering intolerable blood and clots obscene sizes coming out of my body. The symptoms pre clot evacuation is sweating and dizziness and then clot movement. The blood discharge from my body has been enormous I have only just made an appointment to go and see my doctor as i have been to nervous to go and see him. I have read many comments on site which suggest it is common event. please do you have any other suggestions which would  be beneficial to me.
with thanks
ange

I am so sorry for your loss!  On 1 of my 3 M/C's I bled heavily with clots for 4-5 days - I thought it would never stop.  I actually called the nurse and she directed me to the ER.  They said if I was completely soaking a pad an hour then to call them, which I did.  The ER did a quick pelvic exam and just sent me home after they determined I was OK.  I tried to keep my feet up as much as possible and used a heating pad.  Take care of yourself.
