First IUI

Hello ladies, is there anyone out there who has just had her first IUI or about to. I'm one day past my IUI and I'm having some sensations in my lower abdomen. I'm not due to see the doc until after 2wks. I start my progesterone on the 12th Nov 08.
If you are out there, we could share what we are going through and help one another through the 2WW.

Been a while. How are you doing since ur IUI? You should be 4dpiui now. Any cramps or symptoms?
I'm 9dpiui and everything is normal. Nothing weird feeling, no nothing. I hope this does not mean anything negative. I don't get to back to my doc until the 24th.
Are you on progestorone? I am.

Most of the sensations I've been feeling in my abdomen stopped today! I don't know if that's good or bad, but I've read that that happens.
I'm choosing to be positive just like you.
So we are two positive ladies.

I just got back a little bit ago from my first IUI. It went really good. DH's sample was 20 million before wash and after wash it was 9 million with 90% moving forward. I was very happy with the results. I go back tomorrow for the second IUI. I'm trying to stay positive :)

If your RE says ur follie is looking good,then that means its all good.
You usually need just the one, u know but I understand what u mean when u say, u'd have prefered atleast two.
I hope ur DH's count is good too! Good luck on all counts!!
I don't get to test until the 24th, so I still have quite a wait.
Be of good cheer, girl! It's going to happen for us!!

Hey, thank you so much for asking. I was pretty sad about me RE this morning. I only have 1 follie :( I wanted at least 2. The RE said my follie and lining were perfect. We have male infertility so I'm hoping DH's counts are good tomorrow to make up for me only having 1 follie. I've heard that the progesterine can be a killer. I hope you feel better. When are you testing?

Hi bree08, just wanted to know how you are doing? I believe you are going for your follie check today, good luck! I'm sure you are going to have good follies. Did your doc put u on any drugs? I was on FSH from day 3(from AF) until day 7.
Let me know.
Started my progestorone today - not fun. Still feel tight around my abdomen and some discomfort. Had to come home from work today, so I could get some sleep.  I get weak and tired also.

Hey- Good luck this cycle. I hope you get your BFP @ the end of the dreaded TWW! I am going Wednesday for my follie check and then if everything looks good my first IUI will be on Thursday and then the second on Friday. SO, I'll be in the dreaded TWW with you :) This is my first time going through an IUI too.
