Going for 1st IUI tomorrow and am thinking...

Anyone who has been through Clomid and IUI, your thoughts are appreciated!

I am going in for my first IUI tomorrow. I am on cd14 and have been using opks since day 11. I didnt get a positive reading until earlier today but I feel like I am ovulating now! I had an ultrasound yesterday and  there is one mature egg and one that was almost ready. I was told I could trigger right away and have the IUI today or to trigger last night, which I did, to give the 2nd egg a chance to finish maturing.... but tonight i am achey and a little uncomfortable. I keep telling myself that the fertility specialist knows what he is doing, but I can't help but think I am missing the window of opportunity! My appointment isnt until 11:30 tomorrow. If we were trying this the old fashion way we would be trying tonight, which I obviously can't do since my husband needs to leave his specimen for the IUI tomorrow. Any thoughts from someone who has been throuh this?

Thanks for the reassurance! The anxiety is too much! We have been trying for soooo long, I just really want this to work. I am too nervous not to follow things to the letter so i guess tomorrow is the big day!

i always felt the pain before the iui. it could be the size of them and that there are more than one in there and not the release. others here have had the same fears too. they usually schedule iui for 36 hours after trigger and that is to get sperm in there before egg. so if your DH can pull a double play then do it tonight. but if sperm count is an issue than don't.
