Group B Strep

Anyone receive penicillin for Group B Strep just prior to delivery??  If so, how did everything go?

I did with my son and had no issues.I think it is most effective at least 4hrs prior to birth.

I haven't, but you SHOULD take it.  You don't want your baby to develop meningitis which could be life threatening, and as far as I know there shouldn't be any problems with taking antibiotics.
