Multiple miscarriages (1 chemical pregnancy) TTC again

In May 06 I went off BC and got pregnant right away.  We found out at an U/S at 7 weeks that the baby was only measuring about 6 weeks and had a low heart rate (around 85 bpm).  I had about 4-5 more U/S in the next couple of weeks and at each one there was little or no growth and the heartbeat got lower.  Then we found out that they couldn

I have had 4 mis's this year and we took 5 months off to plan and go on a vaca so basically every month we've tried we've been preggo. but it doesn't stick!!! i found out i have a few blood clotting factors. factor v, factor II and MTFR ...idk if this why i keep having early mis's but now we are seeing a reproductive endrocronologist next week so hopefully they will help. i believe i need to be on lovenox prior to ttc. i know for sure i need it 2x's a day once i am but i really belive i need it prior to being preggo. any women having trouble holding on to a pregnancy i would demand my blood clotting factors to be tested. i had NO idea!! i also have a perfectly normal 3 year old daughter which i had no problem getting pregnant or w my pregnancy. i found out when we were trying for my second. i have never had a clot or any symptoms of this disorder...it is fairly common to have 1 or more clotting factors....

I also have experience chemical miscarage 4 days after my periods was due. It was the first time me and my husband were trying to get pregnant.  I took about 9 home pregnancy tets and they all came out positive.  I decided to get my blood work done and then 4 days later I had chemical miscarage.  I was extremely sad.  Just hope the next pregnancy will be successful.  I was wondering if I need D&C?

Hello,
For those women out there who have had mutiple miscarriages, this is my story. My husband and I have tcc for four years, in that time I have become pregnant seven times, all but one have been reported chemical pregnancies. The one that was not was ectopic, that resulted with a loss of right tube and ovary. My husband and I are seeking the help of a infertility specialist however, we are trying to save money so we can make crucial decisions. Although, we are unsure of the problem everything seems to check out ok with me and my husband. It is extremely frustrating, to know we can concieve yet miscarry multiple times. I am greatly blessed to have a supportive husband and family, sometimes it is all that keeps me going. I have definetly realized my strength. Good luck to everyone!

Hi, Im so sorry to hear about your losses. I just wanted you to know, that after 2 m/c , and a chem preg. i got preg again right away after the chem preg. I am now 21 weeks along, and she is doing wonderful. There is still hope, i was scared to death, and shocked after finding out i was preg again so soon after the 3rd loss. We wernt even trying, we avoided my O time, but the Lord had other plans for us. You said you were going to see a specialist, after my 2nd m/c, i had a full pregnancy panel loss blood workup, most dr.s dont test for NKa, so if they are going to do a blood workup on you make sure to mention it. My Re: is one that did, and we found out that was my problem. Its called Natural Killer Cell activity, and it is a immune disorder, with this pregnancy we found out around 5 weeks, and i was immediatly, driving 6 hours to SIRM in LA for treatment every 2 weeks, for Intralipid treatments to keep my Killer cell activity down, to protect my baby. We would have blood drawn every 10 days to make sure it was going down. My body would "build an Army" to destroy my baby as soon as the "Army" was big enough, my first loss was at 7w2d, but we didnt know untill my 1st U/S, at 10w the baby had died. The 2nd time we were watching more careful, and had a u/s done at 8w, ..4 days later my body destroyed that one also, thats when i decided somethig was wrong, and got in touch with Dr. Coulam, in Chicago IL, she is the best. The Chem preg was a surprise, i was 1 w late foer my Af and was showing faint on HPT, then i had a very hard AF with clots.. I knew for sure then. All my blood was drwan in my home town and over nighted to her lab (Dr. Coulam), and she called me when the results were in. After finding the problem, we were able to "fix" it untill my placenta had taken over to protect my baby from my NKa, We had 3 treatments, (through my first Trimester) Alot of women dont know about this, and most Dr's dont test for it, they just go into the "unexplained infertility file" . You CAN have a sucessful pregnany, I will be praying for you. God Bless.

I'm in the same situation, I've had two consecutive m/c and I would like to ttc again.  My m/c were 6 weeks and 7 weeks, don't know why it happened.  I've had some bloodwork done and I am still waiting for the results....
