Bromocriptine or Cabergoline ask your doctor about it.
Hi Doris,
I wish I knew which vitamins would or even could help bring your Prolactin levels down. I would think your doctor should be giving you something to help balance your hormones. I don't know what other hormones Prolactin levels are balanced against so I couldn't tell you. The only thing I know about Prolactin is that it's higher in pregnant women and has something to do with breastfeeding (I think). I know higher levels will definitely interfere with ovulation because it's as if your body thinks it is breastfeeding?? Not sure but maybe you could try googling "decrease Prolactin Levels" and see what comes up.
I know the doctors give you some pills after having a baby (if you aren't planning on breastfeeding) and they dry up your milk so not sure if that's the same thing though.
Good luck!
Trish
