How long did it take to get your Progesterone results?

Hey all, I had my labs drawn to check my progesterone to make sure I am ovulating on the Clomid.  Yes, I did have a positive OPK and a thermal shift on BBT but I am anal.
Lab this morning said it takes 7 days, I was like WTF....  I would think since it is a fertility issue they would do it faster?

How long did it take all of you ladies to get your results?

When I get my blood test done 7dpiui to check progesterone and estrogen levels, they get back to me the same day in the afternoon with the results.  I don't see why it would take so long.  I'm sorry...that is way too long to have to wait.

I just had my blood work this morning and I get it the same day as long as I'm there at 8 in the morning blood leaves the office at 830 am . I will call back today at 2 pm and get my results back . I can't fathom why it would take 7 days unless shes a new nurse that doesn't know protocol you never know.. I would call the office today after 2 and see  WTH is going on. Are you seeing an RE or a regular DR. Cause that can be the difference. I hope this helps.

I had mine done at the hospital lab. I called and they said they send it out to Quest diagnostics that they do not check the progesterone there. Quest thay say takes 5 days to get the results back to the doctors. That is nuts!!  I am so po'd.

My ob-gyn is the one who ordered it for me. He is the one who prescribes the Clomid.

When I had it checked at 13dpo when pregnant I got the results back the same day. No clue why they now send that test out. Seems the hospital lab can handle it.

When I had mine checked at the OB/GYN they had to send it out and it still only took 24 hours.  That seems crazy, especially for a hospital.

I agree... it is nuts. I expressed my displeasure to my doctors nurse and she said there is nothing they can do to speed it up.  Jerks!

I am also on clomid cd 21, this is my second round, first time I got my blood drawn it only took two days, they sent me to the hospital and they told me 5 to 7 days. To me it seems completely pointless to even get that done bc I will know if I ovulated or not 1. If i am pregnant I should know way before 7 more days and 2. If I am not pregnant and if I ovulated I should start AF before that. I am very upset too. I just wish that they would get it done so I can know I cant stand having to wait :/
