So hubby count was higher but his progressive is lower and his immotile is higher (which is bad)..but its still better then his 1st sample?? right???
Has anyone's hubby/partner had similar values & get pregnant either by IUI, IVF, or naturally??   Does anyone know the count needed to try IUI or IVF??
We finally go to a fertility clinic in Calgary in Jan, so I really hope I can get pregnant soon!  SSBD ladies!

Morphology is the size and shape of the sperm. I don't think there is a minimum count for an IUI considering we did IUIs and most of the time didn't even know his SA results. Typically, IUI success rates are not much higher than your regular chances but its a leg up on natural cycles and cheaper than IVF. Just try to trust your doctor.

Thanks for the reply, I am glad his numbers increased, I am just so curious if there is a minimum count needed for IUI.

I never had the opportunity to see my DH's SA listed out like that, but we were did conference with out RE about it and were told that his morphology was .5%, which is super low. He had 2 SA's and both showed about the same number for morphology despite vitamin treatment, supplements, acupuncture, no alcohol, no smoking, boxers, frequent ejaculation and cold baths. (We tried is all and for a few months too!!)
After a year of TTC naturally, a clomid cycle, and an IUI, we went with IVF and our first cycle has resulted in a pregnancy! :) So there is hope!!! Try not to get too caught up in the numbers and just follow what your doctor says. Good luck my friend!
