IUI PROSEDURE

Hello! I'm new to this forum. Just had my 1st unsuccessful IUI. We have unexplained infertility. Just wondering  is anyone expierenced difficult IUI, so as it took a while to acsess my uterus. And I actually thought may be this is the problem?

Thanks hips for your reply. I actually wasn't told if my cervix is tilted, but seems it is. they had to use special cateter.

I'm sorry to hear of your failed IUI. I have a tilted cervix (the opening to the uterus), which is not uncommon, but it makes it a little bit more difficult to get the catheter it for an IUI. A tilted cervix is not an issue in and of itself though, because sperm can still easily swim up through the opening. Best of luck next cycle!
