IVF Cycle #4....

So this is my 4th cycle and third RE....every RE has their own opinion (yet similar) and a slightly different protocol. This cycle I'm doing 300IU in morning and 300IU at night! Different!....also taking prednisone, baby aspirin and DHEA.....I'm a mad scientist looking for the right formula!  This is going to be the one! I just have to beleive!

I had 4 IUI's and 3 IVF's...on my 4th IVF cycle.

I am doing the 4th cycle with the Center for Human Reporduction - Dr. Barad (and Dr. Gleitcher).

How did you have all of those eggs retrived if you only did 2 IVF's?  Do you mean that you had that many folliciles when you did IUI?

I am in NY (long Island) where office are you going to in NYC?

Good Luck with today's adventure...at our age, frozen embryo's would be far and in between I think....From my three cycles, I had one cancelled, second didn't take (2 eggs transfered) and cycle three NG (2 - 4 cell embryos).  I did 4 IUI's with the first place and the first 2 IVF cycles...just felt like it was a baby making factory and there was not much individual attention to detail (in my opinion)....in and out....I decided to go to another RE because he was referred by many and he was very nice, took his time and "seemed" sincere with his goals....this was a one man operation, so you could imagine the difference...anyway, with no money left and out of desperation, I decided to look elsewhere because the second RE just didn't give me the confidence that he would be successful another round (and the protocol he was going to use was not a good choice according to RE #3).  So here I am with the third RE who specializes in the age group of 40-45....I've done everything online and via emails.....I go to Labcorp for bloodwork and a local radiology place for my ultrasounds....Gotta keep moving...and can't give up.......next stop is DONOR.......

PS: Cycle #1: 3 eggs retreived
       Cycle #2: 8 eggs retreived
       Cycle #3: 7 eggs retreived
       Cycle #4: Hoping for 8 eggs of better quality.

I am also doing IVF #4 I had the transfer today.  I have not had any frozen embryos so every cycle is Fresh.  From the three cycles completed I had 2 m/c's.  How did your cycles go?  What makes you keep switching Dr's?
I am also on high doses of meds & have never had more then 8 eggs.
