IVF - May be cancelled due to low irons
Any one else have this. I am 26 days away from starting my stimulation drugs but been having low BP and doc thinks it might be because of iron. He says we might have to cancel the cycle if this is the case????

hey, i just got news they wont be cancelling my IVF - so i am so so releaved and happy.
I believe the AMH test helps measure your ovarian reserve. As for the iron, I haven't personally heard of anyone having a cycle canceled for that reason....but i wonder if they think there might be an underlying cause for your low levels and maybe they want to get that taken care of before you start. If I were you, I would call and ask them (or ask when you go in for your test), and also ask how long this will delay your IVF cycle. Hope it won't be too long!
