I am so sorry for your loss. Miscarriages are devastating. I did a D&C and developed uterine scarring so my opinion is do everything you can to NOT get a D&C.

so so sorry you have to go through this!  I had a d&c after my missed miscarriage as it was at 12 weeks and I was terrified of passing our baby, but in hindsight, I wish I had waited and gone naturally.

I still bled on and off for 2 weeks after the procedure and then got an infection so had 2 weeks on antibiotics.  I know that a lot of people prefer it but for me I would go natural if I had to do it again .. I hope it is over soon for you and you can start to heal physically and emotionally!

I am so sorry for your loss.  I've had three early miscarriages. Did a D&C with the first, natural with the last two.  IMO both are equally as painful emotionally.  I would go naturally as long as the doctors don't advise otherwise.  A D&C can cause scarring that can make it harder to conceive in the future is what I have read and heard.  The bleeding and cramping can last a few more days and is heartbreaking.  Your next cycle also may contain some tissue or clumps as well so be prepared.
