we have now moved on to ivf sorry i havent taken progesterone yet, im due to after egg collection next week so cant help you with that
good luck with your cycle please let me know how you get on x
I am also on my 3rd cycle of IUI. I am on shots- get stims for 11-13 days before the follies get ready. Now I;m at that stage, I'll get my trigger shot today and IUI tomorrow...Yeah, my ultrasounds are not too comfortable towards the end of the cycle when the follies are big as the ovaries don't like being prodded :) but otherwise the procedure is not bad. Just slightly uncomfortable, like an ob/gyn appointment.
I also get hyper sensitive with all this treatment, especially in the 2 week wait and then each time I got the negative I was down for a day or two but DH cheered me up.
Yesterday DH and I had a huge fight and I was crying and crying and blaming him for not spending time with me, he said its not you its the hormones making you do this, but I was so sensitive I didnt like that evem and snapped back no this is me I want more of your time... But then we made up before going to sleep - with me apologising of course, as after some time he got REALLY irritated so I had to say sorry and beg forgiveness but we both then forgave each other so this morning all is well. Thank God he is understanding and caring...
Good luck and baby dust to you, hope it works...
I’m currently on my third cycle of IUI.
I have PCOS, so I have to be monitored closely. I’m in the Dr’s office every few days and give myself shots in the tummy for about two weeks. For me, the internal ultrasounds aren’t the most comfy as my ovaries are the size of grapefruits. It’s not painful, just really tender.
As far as irritability goes, I’m definitely more sensitive. But luckily, I have a hubby as I’m sure as do you, that is very understanding of everything my body is going through.
I did the three rounds of IUI and we are doing IVF in February. I didn't notice any side effects of Clomid. The HCG shot wasn't bad at all (I even had to give it to myself). The procedure itself was super quick, painless and easy ... no worse than a regular GYN visit. Don't be worried at all !!! Best of luck to you! Hope it works out!!!
