Infertility question

Hi Everyone and Happy New Year!
Anyone out there with adenomyosis? The doctor thinks it is this form of Endometriosis that grown inside the uterine wall, it is causing gnawing like pain during my periods, and extremely heavy bleeding. I also can't get preggo. I had a MC on 1/31/06 and have been trying again to no avail. Any help out there?
Thankyou!!

Sorry I didn't get back to you sooner! I was diagnosed with Endo at age 18, I am 37 now. The endo pain was different though.
This is more like a very uncomfortable gnawing pain, like something with sharp claws is walking around on the inside of my uterus. It hurts also with my bladder, but only during my periods. I haven't had an MRI< they said it is really hard to see even with the MRI. Please let me know how everything works out for you. The doctor told me to take BCPs for 6 months, then TTC again, with the help of Clomid and Progesterone. Thanks for your response and good luck! Keep me posted.

I had an u/s a couple of months ago and it revealed a 3cm fibroid OR possible adenomyosis. I got the u/s because I have been having pain under my left rib and sometimes pelvic pain/pressure.  I'm going for my MRI next week to know for sure.  I don't have abnormal pain during my periods, I just had mild pelvic pain and cramping during the whole luteal phase.  I'm hoping I don't have any problems and hoping it's just a fibroid.

I just got off bc pills and that's when all this started.  So we'll see.  Were you diagnosed with it already? And are there treatments available?  I'm just praying on it and hoping it won't get in the way if that's what I have.
