Is there even hope?

I have had 3 successful pgs before having 2 m/c.  I was 25, 27, and 32 yrs old with my girls.  I am now almost 35, working with a Repro OB/GYN.  Blood test reflected that I was heterozygous (maybe MTHFR?) and he explained it may be clotting defects/implantation issues.  My 1st m/c was chemical pg in Jan 08; my 2nd m/c was a missed m/c at 14 wks with twins in Nov 08- we didn't know the pg was multiple until the loss.  Fetal death occured around 10 1/2 wks.  My question is - do we even have hope of having another child?  How long will it realistically take to conceive again?  My 1st child took 2 mos (I was young!), my 2nd child took 3 mos, and my 3rd took almost 5 mos.  I am on a protocol of baby aspirin daily, Folbic daily, and progesterone suppositories during 2nd half of cycle until pregnant.  I understand that there are no guarantees, but I wonder what the percentage of repeated miscarriage is?  I appreciate anyone's feedback, especially an MD or someone with same experience.  Thank you.

Thank you for your post and for the well wishes.  I had thought about posting my question to an MD.  I am under the care of a reproductive specialist.  He said that if we didn't conceive in 4-6 mos, to call him and we would figure something/some sort of course of action.  I'm just trying to remain hopeful.  Again, thanks!

To my limited knowledge, taking baby asprin, and doing the progesterone suppositories the last half of your cycle is a good start.  I take it you're not working for a reproductive endocrinologist?  If you don't get pregnant in the next six months w/this regimen, I wold suggest you see one to further evaluate your condition.  Good luck and SSBD!
