New Girl On the Block

Hello All,

I am new to the forum, but can truly relate to everything discussed in this forum. I have just completed my first round of Clomid  had my first IUI last week and have now been taking the progestrone gel for the last 5 days. I was so happy to read some of the prior post in which the odd cramping and ovary twinges after IUI were discussed. This so made me feel better. True I know it could mean AF, but I am choosing to believe otherwise. Anyway, it will be a pleasure getting to know you all, and wish you all baby dust and the vest of luck.

Welcome! I am pretty new myself, but have already found lots of support and great advice here. I just started my first round of Clomid. IUI will come after 3 months on the Clomid if there is no baby. I have my fingers crossed and look forward getting to know you! ~Tons of Baby Dust!~

Yes girls, this is a great forum, many girls here have lots of knowledge to share, and of course the SUPPORT is great. Like all things, sometimes it can get a little overwhelming, but I guess that is really common while on the TTC journey about many other things too.

Good luck to you all!

I know what you mean in regards to wishing you had found this forum sooner. I have had so many questions about various things that I have experienced during this process, but unfortunately unless you have been through it no one knows what you are talking about. It was such a relief to read some of the prior posts and see people who were describing the same exact things that I am currently experiencing,

You are so right the TTC journey does indeed become overwhelming from time to time. Mainly I think it is due to the constant emotional roller coaster that you are on and the need to understand what is happening to your body at any given moment. During this last year I have learned more about the female body than I would have thought I would ever have wanted to know. However on the same token it has helped me to understand better just how conception works.

Welcome!  I stumbled upon this forum a little over a year ago when I was doing an internet search on Clomid and I am so thankful that I did!  After TTC for 2 1/2 years, it is so nice to have women that can relate to the journey that we are on and all the ups and downs that we go through.  I think you will find that there are many wonderful women here and the support is incredible.  I hope that the Clomid works for you and we are hearing good news from you soon!  :)  In the meantime, we are definitely here to help.  Take care and all the best to you.

Welcome!  I hope to hear a bfp from you soon!  How many dpiui are you?  I am 11dpiui but I just know it didn't work.  This was my fifth IUI cycle with injectables.  This forum is great!  I don't get much emotional support at home so I don't know what I would do without Medhelp and all the women on here.  We are all going through the same thing and are trying to achieve the same goal.  Good luck with your cycle and let us know when your pregnancy blood test is scheduled.

Don't think anything until you see your AF for real. I am 22dpiui and got a BFP on day 17. Prior to that I felt like I was coming on for a week. The feeling was like a AF coming and I was depressed around 11/12 dpiui because I was convinced it wasn't working - in fact I  put a post up here asking should I go to IVF next and how I didn't want to do so many IUI's - that's how convinced I was it didn't work so please unless you see AF don't assume anything. I did avoid doing a HPT though until day 17  because I couldn't bear to see a negative and each day no AF each day I thought I might be...

Positive wishes and luck to you all. I was half asleep at my desk at work (I am so tired!!)
and now that I have logged in and  feel great again reading all the threads.

Best site EVER!! xx
