Thanks. I know what you mean. I have 2 boys 16,and 9. Never in my wildest dreams would I have thought, 6 m/c later I still would not have a successful pregnancy. I used to feel sorry for women who couldn't have babies. I still do but in a different way. My first 2 pregnancies were a breeze other than the usual sickness. I am remarried, and we have been trying for almost 3 years now. After I had my first mc I thought ok, I was sad but the dr. said it happens. The 2nd, humm, then it happens. but 3-6 has been the most overwhelming period in my life. I just can't seen to stay pregnant longer than 6 wks.
Good luck to you.

Well, in june, that was my first m/c and i was totally dumb founded of what i was going threw(and im a nurse) i just never looked at that as an option happening to me. I was so emotionally distraut but i didnt do anything for almost 4 weeks(at least not vaginal) i was so afraid of getting preggo again and having another m/c. I couldnt cope at the time.
Well i have seen post where women have been having sex days after there m/c, i dont think its healthy because your cervix could still be slightly open from the procedure and i wouldnt want to risk getting an infection, my dr told me to wait until after my follow up appt, which was 2 weeks. Its a 50/50 risk. I would go by your dr advice, if not, as long as you can deal with all the other possibilites of what could happen then do what you think is best for you. Good luck, and im sorry for your losses
This will actually be our 2nd. I m/c after becoming pregnant through IVF. We have to wait one full AF to start again. DH and I haven't "gotten busy" in over 2 months so why not try the natural way since we have to wait anyway. Figured we better do it as much as possible before we have to stop. My DH really hates the whole timing processes. Anyway, I thought this would help. I was hoping maybe I was ovulating, it's probably the HCG levels in my system. At this point I'll try anything.
What heather said is very true, i did a hpt and opk few days after my d&c and they both were positive, it actually took 3 weeks for my hcg levels to drop to 5. On the flip side, its also a possibility you could actually be ovulating also. What made you test? Are you planning on ttc b4 your first cycle?
Yes, OPKs can detect Hcg, since both LH and Hcg are structurally very similar. So your OPK is probably just picking up the pregnancy hormone. As for BDing, I would wait until it's been at least a week, since there's a chance for infection if you start too early. Take care!
