Looking for some suggestion

I have my annual exam on the 22nd but I am also going to use the appointment to talk to the doctor about our options TTC.  I have been off bc since May 2010. I know it hasnt been a full year of trying yet but I have been using OPKs and tracking my cycles quite closely. No BFP yet obviously and its starting to worry me a bit.  I had an appointment with a doctor to discuss it and get on prenatals in July 2010 but didnt like the doctor very much so I have switched.  I am just looking for suggestion on specific questions I should ask or points I should bring up.  I was having regular 28-20 day cycles until last month when it was 36 and now this month I am on day 33 with no AF yet and a BFN.  Are there drugs they can give me, other than bc, that can help regulate my cycle and increase our chances? I'm sure they wont want to jump to the infertility conclusion without it being a full year yet. Are there certain tests I should ask for? When I had my annual last May they did a standard work up and everything was fine. Also, where can my BF get a sperm analysis done? Any suggestions will help. Thanks!

I would ask for a vaginal ultrasound.  It'll give them an idea of what could be going on by giving them a clear picture.  I was only TTC for 9 months when I went for an annual, discussed my concerns with the nurse, she told the dr who ordered the u/s while I was there, figured it couldn't hurt.  Ended up finding out I have PCOS and they scheduled me for surgery the following month.  I'm glad I didn't wait the whole year!!  I got lucky that the same OBGYN I started seeing at 17 just for my annuals ended up being an RE too, and she's been very aggressive with my treatments.  My first BFP ended in blighted ovum at 8 weeks, so we took about 6 months off, and now we are trying again.  Best of luck to you!!!!

Your local ob will tell u where for him to get the annalysis done. I would suggest using L cartine for him ( it can be bought at walmart for $5) . It helps increase sperm count. also wear boxers.
FOR YOU:
Some of the Ob's try Clomid first. it Might help. It can be gotten at kroger for $18 without insurance coverage. Walmart might have it too. THere are several test they can do. your OB might want u to do bbt's for a few months along with Charting cervcal mucus and position. After that they might do Hsg ( run fluid through your tubes to make sure they are open). after that more then likely they will send u to a RE.

Good Luck. It takes most people a year to get pregnant. Dont get discourage.
