Question

Hi
I am new to the forum.  I always read it though so I am hoping to get some good advice.  I am 30 years old and have always had a 28 day cycle.  Last October my husband and I got pregnant and at 5 weeks I had a miscarriage.  The doctor told me I would miscarry naturally which I did.  I started right back on my 28 day cycle.  3 months later in March we tried again and got pregnant immediately.  Once again at 5 weeks I started bleeding and this time had an ectopic pregnancy.  I had my right fallopian tube removed.  Now I have not had a normal cycle since.  At first I was starting my period around 32 days (which I can deal with) I am not out to almost 45 days and my periods are lasting 10 and 11 days which is really very unusual for me.  This past month I was so late I took 11 HPT and finally went to the doctor who took blood and did an ultrasound just to be sure I didn't have another ectopic.  Everything came out ok.  He gave me Provera to take to start my period.  I ended up not taking it and started 3 days later.  Spotted on and off for 4 days then finally started so now I have been bleeding for 9 days straight.  I am quite terrified to be honest.  I did call the doctor today because I was feeling faint.  I can't tell if I actually feel faint or if I am just extremely anxious.  He suggested taking motrin to slwo down the bleeding but that hasn't helped.  I would like to know if anyone else has experienced anything like this after having the types of losses I have had?  Also I am wondering if this is really going to decrease my chance of concieving even more so than having just one tube.  Thanks for your time!

Gosh, I am so sorry for all of the heartache and problems you are having. I know a few posters have only one tube and are pregnant. In fact, I think I read when one is removed the other ovary makes up for the lost one. With the long periods and other problems, I am surprised they haven't suggested a d&c. I also have read after you have had an ectopic, your chances of having another are very slim. Sorry I can't help more.
