Thanks girls I'm now sick with a cold and sore throat lol
Thanks girls. Ended up now getting a cold and sore throat lol awesome
Oops, should be "nauseous"
I was not nauseas at all when I was pregnant with my daughter, but did feel queasy in the beginning of this pregnancy (boy this time); so every person and every pregnancy is different, no matter what the sex of the baby. I never threw up either; it was more of a yucky, queasy feeling, not wanting to eat anything, yet constantly HUNGRY! The only foods that appealed to me at the time was fast food. Hard to try and eat healthy when you can't stand the thought of anything green, yet you just crave french fries the entire time...LOL! Anyway, I started feeling A LOT better towards the end of my first trimester....and like you, it started going away before I actually hit 12 week. Probably around 10 weeks or so.
:-)
Thank you so much for your input. We are excited but also found that the rate of miscarraige goes down to 3% after heartbeat, etc. at 9 weeks.
I didn't have any morning sickness at all. Niether did my mother with any of her children, or my sister when she was pregnant. Ask your mom if she had it with you I bet she wasn't either. I don't believe that you are sicker with girls then you are with boys... my sister had a girl and no sickness, i'm having a boy and no sickness. just depends on you. Nothing to worry about at all.
Thank you. Mine is ok sometimes and then other's is nasea again. I never actually vomit (thank goodness). But like she said above symptoms come and go.
Morning sickness normally stops or gets better for most people after the first trimester. Unfortunately, for some people it continues throughout the pregnancy. I was sick 24 hrs/day 7 day/week for the full 40 weeks. It wasn't fun for me (I think I threw up on average 5 times/day!) but my baby was healthy the entire time and he was 10 lbs when born!
My advice is:
- eat some saltine crackers before you even get out of bed in the morning, it tends to settle the tummy a bit before sitting up
- drink lots of room temperature water or flat diet ginger ale (cold liquids are harder to digest)
- eat many small meals throughout the day
- always eat something before taking vitamins.
If it gets really bad your doctor can prescribe Diclectin (it helped me a lot!!) and a pre-natal vitamin like Preg-Vit that is specially formulated to be easier to digest.
Is this common to start getting relief around this time frame? Is it cause for concern?
Thank you do much. Funny you say that everyone's telling me it's a boy lol I always say too as log as there's no cramps and bleeding it's probably fine I also found most
People start to get relief around 9-10 weeks
I didn't have any morning sickness with my boys and they are just fine, ages 9 and 8 now! Remember symptoms will come and go. And since you saw the baby last week things are probably fine. Try not to worry. :)
