Question about ovulation

Hi Ladies, usually I post in the maternal forum but I figured since Im not pregnant this forum might be of more help.I was wondering if you girls knew anything about ovulation. I know your suppose to ovulate 14 days from last AF but this month my discharge has been very clear and elasticky.  My last AF was october 25th so I think its too early to O already.  Shouldnt it be around the 10 th or something.  I know everyones different though.  Just wondering if you guys had any info??  Thansk alot!!

EWCM is eggwhite cervical Mucus which is the most fertile.

I definitely recommend using an ovulation predictor kit. You are supposed to start testing depending on the date of the SHORTEST cycle that you have had over the previous six months. Even if you are USUALLY normal, that isn't to say that you will ALWAYS be on time. Additionally, a woman generally Os between 12 and 16 days PRIOR TO her next af. Therefore, you can't rely on the idea that you O 14 days AFTER your af starts unless you are ALWAYS on a 28 day cycle. (I.e. I average 30 days in my cycle, so I generally O around day 16, which is 14 days prior to the day my af would start ... however, I started taking OPK because I am still not pg after months of trying because my cycle has a tendency to vary slightly.)

You should try taking an ovulation test. You can buy the test at drug stores.  It is worth the $15 bucks.  Each woman is different.  Once you figure out what your cycle is, it is pretty much the same from month to month for you.  Mine is 12 days without fail.

Hey,  We started ttc last september and it ended in m/c so now we are ttc again.  I dont know what  EWCM is??  I havent been charting either.  Maybe I will start doing that.  Thanks for the advice!

Hey, It is a little early for ovulation but don't question it if you have EWCM which sounds like what you described you should BD like crazy! Everyones body is different like you said esp. if you have irregular cycles. I have ovulated anywhere from cd 9-18 so u never know! Are you charting your bbt? I highly suggest charting and using OPKs takes the guess work out. How long have you been TTC??? GOOD LUCK!
