Didn't you say you used a heating pad after your transfer?  I did the dumbest thing last night.  I fell asleep and my heating pad was next to me and at some point I must have grabbed it b/c I woke up and it was on my stomach.   Must have been there about an hour.  I freaked out thinking I hurt my embryos, but the doctor said unless it raises your core temperature it does not affect the uterus.  And since heating pads only cover a small area of your body and don't get much farther than the layer of fat under your skin or the top layer of muscle it doesn't raise your body temp.  Then I also saw a post where a women said she used one ever ynight after her transfer and got on pregnant with twins.  I was freaking out this morning until I talked to the doctor.

Because we did ours back to back I just never started again, except for one weekend in June when I was visiting my friend in Amsterdam.  You got to have a few (or more) drinks there.  :)  In my paper work about the IVF cycle it just says to stop caffeine, alcohol, sweetners, etc when you start stims.  But I would think that if you drink a lot of caffeine you may want to cut it off a month early so you don't have caffeine withdrawals on top of feeling crappy from all the meds.

OMG!  You are hilarious.  At my massage yesterday I envisioned my muscles sliding off the bone like a rib at Tony Romas!  I have these terrible knotts in my lower back.
I actually got some exercise in yesterday for the 1st time since the end of July!  Felt good.  I'd like to get into shape before the next cycle.  ALso no more caffeine and drinking and all that after this weekend (or should I just cut down?)  I am wondering when the cut off should be as far  as an IVF cycle goes.  One month, right?

I put the damn heating pad away.  I don't get why you can use them on your back though.  Your back has less fat and the heat would penetrate farther.  You would think that would heat you up faster than heat on top of belly fat...yes I have a little of that now after not working out for weeks.  I searched the internet high and low and most blogs where doctors respond say you can use them on your low back.  most also said what the doc already said that you can use them where ever you want b/c the heat can't penetrate all the way to your uterus, infact only about 1cm below the skin and a 12 inch square of heat isn't going to do much for your core temp.  I still get a little worried when I think about it.  I envision my uterus boiling.  Stupid I know. :)

Garzo said no heating pads on my belly after the transfer.  I wouldn't worry about it though.  I only used it to rub the injection site from the progesterone.  If it was only on an hour and you didn't feel too hot (your core area) you should be fine as your RE said.  I could only imagine how freaked out you were.  My advice is to cont. getting pampered from your honey and enjoy some R & R time!  This is it for you my dear!  I just know it and I can't wait for the 14th!
