TRUE OR FAULSE? MYTH OR GENUINLY TRUE FACT?

today my partner told me that
if a man gets really hot eg has a really hot shower or bath, it will decrease the chances of him producing good sperm when he ejeculates

he said after a hot shower it takes 8hrs for the sperm to built up good again?

so baisicly him having a hot shower or bath before sex will decrease the chances of me concieving ??

i always have one first really really hot ones :(??? so does he so is this true?!?!

I think a regular shower is fine, but like the others said, really HOT water can be an issue. In general, it's good to have him stay away from saunas and hot tubs, but a shower with just normal, warm water shouldn't be a problem...

The testicles hang off of the body to keep them cooler. Yes, heat is an enemy of sperm.

I doubt that the hot showers would bother sperm but the baths just might.  If that were the case then there probably wouldn't be too many babies conceived because not too many women want to have sex without DH getting a good shower at least 8 hours beforehand LOL.  But most of the time the men who have poor sperm count or whatever have to be extra careful.  I just heard something about heated seats in the car this morning and laptops too.  So tell DH to just limit his baths and take more showers and you won't have to worry about it.

But in case you didn't know, the testicles have to be a certain temperature BELOW the normal body temperature in order to ejaculate.  I definitely read that in my medical books years ago but can't say for sure if it said to produce sperm or just ejaculate period.  I'll look when I go home to doublecheck.
