Picture after ICSI

Okay, this may sound paranoid but I have been through four cycles of IVF with ICSI - so I have had LOTS of embies implanted ( with 3 successful pregnancies!).  I have had three three-day fresh transfers, a fresh blast and a frozen blast transfer.  This time was a fresh three day transfer.  I have kept all of my pictures given to us on transfer day.
In my current photo one embie has what looks JUST LIKE six or seven sperm hanging on around the edges.  On not ONE other photo (or even the embie beside it) have I noticed Sperm.  We have always done ICSI so I am not sure why sperm would be on the edges anyway.  Any insight?  My clinic was VERY busy around the time of my retrieval and transfer so I am of course freaked out...

Yes, I did work up the nerve yesterday to call and ask.  I was right, which completely FREAKED ME OUT until the dr. called me and explained that it wasn't MY embryo in the picture.  His new HP printer apparently has a mind of its own and when he clicked on my picture from the slide show and it gave him a different one.  He said it happened again when he tried to print a day 3 and got a blast... so I understand what he is saying and it is the BEST CASE SCENARIO of course.  He assured me MY embryos are in ME. :)     - Like the 2WW isn't stressful enough!!!

From what I understand when ICSI is done, they hatch the egg with the sperm so it's a pre-embryo, or a blastocyst as it splits & divides. They hatch on the day of the retrieval & 3 or 5 days later they transfer the embryo. So the sperm shouldn't be hanging around the edges, especially that many. They take the "best" sperm & use it to fertilize the egg. I would ask the clinic. You have every right to ask them, even if you think they'll think it's silly. Let me know!
